Recreation
I have gained broad management experience, and major knowledge in recreation, fitness, and government-owned facilities. I possess a strong understanding of risk management, and I ensure the agreement of achieved outcomes, are consistent with departmental plans and budgets. I also have led diverse teams and enjoy working in many high-profile projects that have my skills and knowledge to the test, time and time again.
I have developed great relationships with peak sporting bodies and community based sports in South Australia which has assisted in the delivery of major sporting infrastructure in SA.
Tourism
Currently involved in site identification, a long-term lease negotiations, grant applications for an adventure tourism, accommodation and restaurant providers in Australia, my exposure to preparing appropriate project management documentation, including project briefs, masterplans and project management plans is extensive and one for which I have many notable achievements.
Leisure
Delivered masterplans and reviews on new and existing leisure facilities for the private sector and government.
Involved with the development of major health and fitness brand in the early 2000’s and have continued to be heavily involved with the development of community sport through local government.
Overall, I consider myself a project specialist in the leisure and recreation sectors who has a passion for South Australia, and being a community-focussed individual.
