About Maverick
Maverick Recreation was born from over 25 years experience in the recreation and leisure industry where I gain significant experience in Local Sate and the private sector.
One of my core beliefs is to strive to do things better and deliver the complex projects through work ethic, communications and working with multiple stakeholders.
I can deliver the complicated capital works project, any leasing, site identification property related matters and can deliver high level recreation and sports strategies.
Over the last 5 year I have developed a passion in the adventure tourism sector delivering projects for TreeClimb and also involved with site identification for accommodation providers which is a great area to be involved.

With a career that spans over 20+ years in a vast array or fields and sectors, I have gained extensive experience in the delivery of major projects, providing strategic property advise, preparing grant application and master-planning for tourism related business, and identification of new sites for tourism related business, and finalising long term leases for those sites.
I have a broad range of qualifications, with various industry-related certificates in Business, Infrastructure Maintenance Management, Contract Management and Asset Management, bring a wealth of knowledge to the table.
Working in community-led or service organisations, membership run organisations, and local government, these roles have required a high level of aptitude, and a deep commitment to achieving successful results. My qualifications in business and property management, along with my extensive experience in community engagement with diverse communities, and proactive marketing will be of value to your institution and clients.
Overall, I consider myself a project specialist in the tourism and recreation sectors who has a passion for South Australia, and being a community-focussed individual. I would love to contribute to, and be part of your commission’s projects, programs and initiatives, and deliver high quality and successful results to clients.
